We dropped off the car at Logan, and took a taxi to Boston South Station. Train stations seem so much friendlier than airports!

They had a lovely layout of Christmas trains.

We were the first seated in the Business Class car, just behind the engine. Good thing I bought the Business Class tickets, too. The train was sold for eight cars and only had seven.

Our trusty steed for Amtrak's northeast corridor regional service. It has a similar silhouette to one of the high-speed Acela trains, but it's only a wanna-be.
