Pluto Occultation!

On 18 March 2007 a little bit before 11:00 UT, Pluto and its atmosphere will occult a Magnitude 15 star for up to 6 minutes. The scientists who are involved with the Pluto Express mission are very interested to find out what the atmosphere of Pluto is doing right now. This will be visible thru out California. Franck Marchis of UC Berkeley is coordinating a combined occultation effort. If you have a CCD camera and any size telescope, you may be able to contribute to the team.
